Of beings who shine in the depths.
I was looking at pictures of colorful sea life one day. Halfway through, a hashtag campaign led by indigenous women took off like a rocket after a young woman was reported missing. First nations women were asking: “Am I Next?”
What a ridiculous juxtaposition... yet I wonder what it means to be both mocked and hunted—to be spotted by predators like a brightly colored animal in a crowd.
